Hostmonster

Hostmonster is the webhosting company for my domains. Their service is very affordable and Customer Service has always been friendly and helpful. Their Page Wizard sucks, but it's actually better than some of the other low-cost or free WYSIWYG design software. Do yourself a favor and get Dream Weaver--I will as soon as my summer student loan comes in!
Other than the horrible Page Wizard, I've been very satisfied with Host Monster and am pleased to give them my Seals of Approval!

Cash Duck

Cash Duck is a completely free system where members are paid to try various products and services. With your membership you will find more than 100 services, products and surveys to try. You won't get rich with Cash Duck, but you will get a small rebate for products and services you may have wanted to try anyway. For instance, if I keep my Netflix membership for at least a month, I will get a $30 reward.
There are no tricks to get you to join for "free" only to find out that the free membership offers nothing and you must pay more in order to participate in a program that could only work if you devoted a great deal of time and money to it. With Cash Duck, you participate as much or as little as you want and choose only those products and services which interest you. It's fun and easy. And best of all, the service is HONEST, which is why Cash Duck gets my seal of approval.
Just click the Cash Duck banner at the top of the post to check it out for yourself. With zero pressure and many offers to choose from, it couldn't hurt to try!

Personal Credit Services

Personal Credit Services claims that the lenders they recommend will be able to get an unsecured personal loan for a person with bad credit. They do what they say in that they get you a list of ten legitimate lenders.
I was applying for $2500 and paid $100 for this list. They do not do the "footwork" for you. You will have to call the lenders yourself. I got a list of four credit card providers and six banks. I am not able to apply for credit cards according to the provisions of The Freedom Point, which is the debt reduction counselor with whom I'm working to pay off past credit card bills.
Personal Credit Services claims that if you are unable to obtain the amount you need, you will get your money back. This is true, but there are provisions. If none of the creditors will touch you, then you are entitled to a refund of your finders' fee with documentation. In my case, I was able to find a lender that would give me $1000. This loan required me using my car for collateral. Thus the loan is not unsecured. I believe that your credit would have to be at least "fair" to qualify for an unsecured loan. If your credit is "bad," like mine unfortunately is, I would suggest holding onto your $100. If your credit is fair, you might have better luck.
Personal Credit Services rates as not a scam, but I found their initial claims misleading. If you have bad credit, you will likely NOT be able to get an unsecured personal loan through the sources they provide.

*&!(%! Google Adsense!

You've probably noticed the Google Adsense feature in your template.
Now I may not be the smartest thing on legs, but how in the purple heck are you supposed to know that you need to sign up for an Adsense account for this thing to work???
I kept wondering how come all of my Adsenses said the same thing about donating to help the hurricane victims. Which is a good cause and works if the site is strange and ambiguous in nature like my Random Thoughts blog. But on my e-commerce blogs, I think certain types of products could be mentioned.
I did a search for Google Adsense and learned that I needed to sign up for the dang thing.
You'd think that they could indicate something about this in the area that encourages you to put the widget on your website???
But maybe that's just me.

Blog Division

This blog is being divided into several for purposes of organization. I have decided to devote this blog to the purpose of reviewing online businesses through services such as Blogsvertize and Pay Per Post, both of which can be found in my sidebar. My new e-commerce blogs are Affiliate Avenue, which is devoted to finding the best affiliate and work at home programs and weeding out the scams, and Bargain Corner, which is still in its infancy but which will feature the products and services which I will be offering.

Just Say Hi

Just Say Hi is a new free dating service for both gay and straight singles. You can check out hundreds of personals. Sign-up is quick and easy. You enter information about yourself and about the kinds of people you would like to meet.
Just Say Hi isn't just for dating. You can also seek platonic friends or people who share your interests in certain activities. Those who are interested in dating can choose whether their goal is marriage, a long-term relationship, dating, or intimate encounters.
I like the fact that Just Say Hi provides a free matchmaking site that is on par with the higher priced dating services. One minor change that I think would be helpful for those people who are seeking friends or activity partners rather than a romantic date is if there was a "doesn't matter" option for the gender of the person you're seeking. For instance, it would make no difference to me whether men or women wanted to join me at a hockey game, and it might even be nice to get a group together for such an activity.
Give Just Say Hi a try. It's free, easy to understand, and you may find the new friend or loved one you have been seeking!
